Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Scholarships 

Mercy College’s new partnership with NFTE allows the Mercy College School of Business to offer full-tuition, four-year scholarships to NFTE students majoring in business, who meet the following criteria:

1. Have a GPA of 80 or higher

2. Major in one of the following business specializations: entrepreneurship, finance, international business, management, marketing, sport management, accounting, corporate and homeland security

3. Attend the Bronx Campus or the Manhattan Campus for the duration of the scholarship

4. Apply to Mercy College at

5. Fill out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form (Mercy College Code 002772) and have a zero EFC (Expected Family Contribution).

6. Interview with a Mercy College Dean by November 1, 2017. Note: Only students that have applied and filled out FASFA will be interviewed

THE MERCY INCUBATION CENTER (MIC) will house startups and welcomes students into the business to both learn from their entrepreneurial journey and help the companies grow. Internship and employment opportunities will also be available. Students will:

  • Learn practical skills from Bronx entrepreneurs
  • Apply skills from class to real-world startup companies
  • Solve business challenges as part of their coursework
  • Have the opportunity to make connections with local business leaders

THE SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING CENTER empowers students to offer direction and advice to local businesses on their social media strategy to help generate results. Students will:

  • Earn a social media marketing certification
  • Engage with company decision makers
  • Measure results and interactions in real time
  • Apply classroom lessons to real-world situations
