Two New Fellowships Launched! 

Watson Institute is launching two new Fellowships with Ford Motor Company Fund and the Western Union Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate your venture, earn seed funding, and build a global network. Ford Motor Company Fund Fellowship


The Ford Fund Fellowship is a fully-funded virtual program that will equip 10 advanced social entrepreneurs with the seed funding, skills, resources, and experience to scale the ventures and community initiatives they are building. Each Ford Fund Fellow will receive seed funding, learn advanced skills in entrepreneurship and leadership, garner experience, and build a global network of Mentors, Master Course Teachers, and peers as they lay the foundation to empower many more youth and transform their communities.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are from the United States, China, Mexico, South Africa, or Kenya. 
  • You are able to commit to the intensive 2-week virtual Accelerator which runs from July 19 - July 30 and the year-long virtual Fellowship. 
  • You have a proven track record of innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership in your community.

Western Union Foundation Fellowship


The Western Union Foundation Fellowship is a fully-funded virtual program for young entrepreneurs and community leaders who are from and working with highly marginalized, refugee, and forcibly displaced communities around the globe.

This year-long program equips the Western Union Foundation Fellows with seed funding, skills, network, and experience to increase access to economic opportunity, integrate into their communities, succeed in the evolving nature of work, and transform their communities.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • You are from Austria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Kenya, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, or the United States. 
  • You are able to commit to the intensive 2-week virtual Accelerator which runs from July 19 - July 30 and the year-long virtual Fellowship.
  • You have relevant social impact and leadership experiences building community development projects within highly marginalized, refugee, and forcibly displaced communities.
